Why Greyhound!

At Greyhound Legal our administrative staff and servers have become adept at finding answers and are experts at our craft. For example, when we take an assignment we make all the necessary preparations before leaving the hub, including obtaining a picture of the defendant and their car. The forefront of what we do is taking the time to recognize the smallest of details. The first impression you give off is a lasting one and If you neglect to look and dress nice, it will act as a crux when delivering time sensitive documents. That is why we require all servers to be clean shaven and professionally dressed.

Once we are in route we double check the location in Google maps and take a visual snapshot of the terrain. When we arrive we circle the target property then double back making a mental note of our surroundings. Before approaching the natural ingress to the property we evaluate doors, windows, lights, neighbors and security. We note access to the rear of the property, back doors, and basements. At the front stoop we take extra care to smile and knock gently. The last thing we want to do as process servers is to put folks in a defensive or reactive position. The subject may or may not have an initial knee jerk reaction, but if  appropriate measures are followed above, service will be successful. Courtesy goes a long way in this business service that is fast and loose puts humans in an emotionally charged state. Extreme actions beget extreme responses. These actions put service companies’ servers and defendants in dangerous situations. Note! Things that we never do. Pounding on windows, trespassing across fence boundaries, leaning though doorways, and insulting target litigants. So when it comes to the human condition should servers be as professional as possible, we think so!

What happens after service is executed on the subject? We will generate an electronic declaration, email it, then mail the original back usps. All declarations in King and Pierce Counties can be e-filed to save you a trip to the courthouse. We also accept payments online as well as invoice.

A lifetime of conditioning has told some that process servers are the bottom feeders of the legal profession. You may have heard horror stories of sewer service; we do not exercise in these practices. I am here to tell you that Greyhound Legal process servers have been ingrained in the execution of dignified service. We will take personal ownership of your service job and will obsess over its completion.

To sum this up, process serving as a whole is a very competitive arena and there are a ton of companies to choose from. Some are riddled with problems and others are not. We are attuned to this and will do whatever it takes to set ourselves apart from the competition. We will not disappoint “I guarantee it”.
